As we move toward winter, we enter a liminal passage where the external world sheds what is no longer needed and honors the primal Life Death Life rhythm. Leaves fall, fields lie fallow, and animals grow lush winter coats in preparation for the long cold ahead. Even in the midst of modern busyness, we can hear it if we listen, a quiet whisper at the edge of awareness inviting us to turn toward stillness.

What if we listened to the inner voice that says, “Be still”?

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a deeply restorative form of guided meditation that invites profound relaxation, clarity, and connection to the deep inner well that lives beneath the noise of everyday life. Journey to Solstice offers an asynchronous, four-week exploration designed to support you through the darkest days of the year and guide you back to the steady glow within.

Throughout the series, you will:

  • Find Deep Rest
    The pace of the holiday season can be overwhelming. This series gives you a structured pause, a moment to step off the hamster wheel and return to yourself. The weekly breath practices help you gently pump the brakes, while the guided Yoga Nidra sessions lead you toward deep, replenishing rest.

  • Explore Stillness and Silence
    Winter teaches us the art of going inward. As nature quiets, we too are invited to conserve energy, reflect, and listen. These practices create space for you to encounter the quiet within and notice what arises when the noise settles.

  • Honor the Winter Solstice
    The solstice marks the longest night of the year and the beginning of the return of light. Together we will reflect on this symbolic turning point, what you are ready to release, and what new beginnings you are ready to welcome.

  • Connect with the Light Within
    Yoga philosophy teaches that our true nature is light. When we soften our identification with the constant chatter of body and mind, we rediscover clarity, peace, and an inner radiance that is always present.

How It Works
Each Sunday morning, you will receive an email with a breathing practice, a guided Yoga Nidra meditation, and journal prompts. Materials are available for one full week so you can move at your own pace. Whether you are new to Yoga Nidra or returning to it, the practices are accessible and supportive for all levels.
