Prenatal Yoga Series is a five part yoga series designed to support individuals as they move through the life-changing process of pregnancy and prepare for labor and new parenthood.

These classes include asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork) and sound vibration appropriate for pregnant bodies and there are modifications and variations for varying needs. Please reach out to Kate directly with specific questions regarding injuries and conditions and consult with your doctor to ensure prenatal yoga classes are appropriate for you.

Classes aim to cultivate safety, ease, and confidence in the physical body, to encourage moment-to-moment awareness of sensation, to strengthen intuition and connection to the breath, and to provide an experiential understanding of how what it means to stay present with, lean into, and move beyond sensation using the breath as a barometer and a guide.

You will need the following props for practice:

-2 yoga blocks (large cans can be used as substitutes, but blocks are preferred)

-2 small blankets or large towels

-2 large pillows or couch cushions

-1 strap, belt or scarf

Each class is 75 minutes.
