Autumn is the Harvest season, a season of gratitude for the earth’s bounty and the natural Life-Death-Life Cycles. We eat rich and nourishing foods, the bounty of summer, and we marvel at the changing landscape. We may feel a touch of melancholy as the leaves turn and fall, and when the air turns cold and the wild things grow their winter coats, we pull our own winter layers out of attics and basements.
There is a hustle to the season, with holidays and end of year deadlines, but under all of it, we feel an inherent pull towards stillness.
